Girls weekend at Springfield Lake

I just returned home from a fantastic girls weekend in Springfield, IL.  We all had a fun and relaxing weekend of swimming, boating and quality girl time.  I miss my best friends so much!  Thank you to Mel and Gina for hosting!!

Anderson Family Reunion

Another fun Anderson Family Reunion is in the books!! Jay and I were so happy to host this year and I think everyone had a great time swimming, eating and playing games.  Such a fun afternoon of quality family time.  We are already looking forward to next year's reunion!!

We signed Jack up for T-ball again this year and I think he had a great time!  Last year, he was more interested in playing in the dirt and skipping from base to base, but this year, he really showed off his baseball skills.  He hit the ball like a champ and did a great job of fielding.  We are so proud of him!

4th of July!

It was another great day celebrating the 4th of July this year with the family. This is one of our favorite holidays, and as expected, it didn't disappoint!  It was a fun day filled with the Urbandale parade, pool party at our house, and sparklers and fireworks in the evening.  By the end of the day, we were all exhausted!!
