Happy Halloween!

We had a great time celebrating Halloween this year with our three little monsters!  The kids had a blast dressing up in their costumes and they loved trick-or-treating.  It was fun seeing them so excited!

This is what Drew thinks of peas :)

As I mentioned earlier, Drew is not a fan of peas and these pictures prove it!  The funny thing is, he still managed to eat quite a bit of peas from the bowl despite his distaste.  He would open his mouth and as soon as I put a bite of peas in his mouth, he would start bawling.  He would eventually stop crying, swallow and then open his mouth again only to repeat the process!

6 months old!

Drew is 6 months old!  Our little guy is doing great and continues to be a very laid back and happy baby.  He is always content regardless of what he is doing or who is holding him.  He loves watching Jack and Katy play and I know he will love the day that he can run around and play with them.  For now, he is happy watching them from the exersaucer!  We have been experimenting with baby food this month and so far, he loves it!  He sits in the high chair with his mouth wide open just waiting for more.  He is not a big fan of peas (can't say I blame him!), but he loves everything else we have tried thus far.  He is at such a fun age right now and I am doing my best to enjoy each new milestone, although I still wish I could keep him from growing so fast!  At his 6 month check-up, he weighed 17 pounds, 10 ounces (50th percentile) and was 28.5 inches long (99th percentile).  He is a long little guy!!

Center Grove Orchard

We had a great time today at Center Grove Orchards.  It was a beautiful fall day and the kids had a blast checking out all the fun activities.  The highlight of the day was the tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch.  Jack was in search of the funniest looking pumpkin and seemed to like the green ones the best, while Jay was in search of a large, flat pumpkin.  Katy was just happy to be outside and chasing Jack and Daddy around while they were on their search for the perfect pumpkin.  At the end of the day, we left with a cart full of pumpkins and gourds, a large bag of Honeycrisp apples, and three tired little kids!
