Baby Shower

We had our first baby shower yesterday hosted by Katy (or Aunt Katy...as she likes to refer to herself!) We enjoyed the afternoon playing a few games and opening some wonderful gifts. As Jay and I were unpacking everything in the baby's room last night, we realized how anxious and excited we are for the arrival of Baby Johnson!

I want to say a special thanks to Katy for throwing such an amazing shower! I also want to thank everyone who came. It meant so much to me that everyone could be there. Thank you all for your love and support...and thank you for all the wonderful gifts!!

Baby Johnson's nursery

Jay and I were very excited when our baby furniture arrived this week. We had a lot of fun seeing the room come together and it has made us even more anxious for the arrival of Baby Johnson!

The room is not 100% complete yet as we are still waiting for our chair, which we hope will come sometime in the next month.

Welcome to the Johnson family blog. We hope to use this as a way to keep everyone updated on our family and the arrival of Baby Johnson!

A quick update – Baby Johnson is due on April 30, which means I am currently 26 weeks along. We find ourselves getting more and more excited as the date gets closer!

I had a doctor’s appointment this week and the baby’s heartbeat was 152 bpm. The baby has been very active over the last few weeks and I am enjoying feeling all the movement. Jay is starting to hear a few more complaints about back pain these days, but other than that, my second trimester has been pretty good!
