10 months!

Jack is 10 months old today! Over the past month, we are starting to notice his transition from the infant stage to the toddler stage. We are having so much fun with him. He is interacting more and I love seeing his personality come out. I still spend most of my days just trying to keep up with him....he is walking all over the house now! He is such a busy boy. We are also finishing the last of his baby food so he is now eating almost all table food. My little baby is growing up so fast!

I made the mistake of letting Jay feed Jack his dinner the other night.....and I had a BIG mess to clean up when they were finished!! There was food everywhere.....all over Jack's hands, hair, face, high chair, and the floor. (Birdie and Bogey were nice enough to help clean up the mess on the floor!) I questioned whether any food actually made it to his stomach, but Jay assured me his belly was full. Jack and Daddy went straight to the bathtub shortly after these pictures were taken!

I don't think these pictures show how dirty Jack really was that night. His hair was a sticky mess!

Jack's 9 month pictures!

9 months old!

Jack is nine months old today....it just doesn't seem possible! He is still a happy, busy little boy who continues to grow and change every day. Taking his first steps was his biggest accomplishment this past month. Mommy and Daddy are excited for him to learn how to walk and at the same time, I think we will regret the day we ever said that! It is hard enough keeping up with him crawling all over the house, I can only imagine how that will change once he is walking. He is using his voice more and more every day....but it's all gibberish, of course! He has also taken more of a liking to Birdie and Bogey in the past few weeks. He has been crawling all over them, stealing their toys, and tugging on their hair. Birdie and Bogey don't seem to mind at all....in fact, I think they like the attention! They are both so good with Jack....there is definitely a reason Golden Retrievers are called the best family dogs!

First steps!

Jack took his first steps yesterday! He is not walking yet....but he is getting close. This kid is fearless!
