10 months old!

Our little Drew is 10 months old today!  He continues to be such a joy and we are all having so much fun with him.  He is still crawling everywhere and pulling himself up to everything.  He has started walking around things, but other than that, he doesn't have too much interest in walking on his own right now...and that is just fine with me!  He has recently started saying his first word... "mama," which is music to my ears!  I love hearing his sweet little voice.  He also still loves to sit in his high chair and will eat anything I put in front of him.  He usually eats his food by the fistful...he just can't get it in his mouth fast enough!  But its a good thing because he needs to put on more weight so he can hold his own with Jack.  As soon as I put Drew on the floor to play, Jack is right there to start wrestling with him.  Fortunately, Drew does not seemed bothered by it!

Happy 7th Birthday, Birdie!

It's hard to believe our first "baby" is already 7 years old!  The time sure has flown by.  Happy Birthday to our sweet girl!

9 months old!

Drew is 9 months old!  This little guy is so active that we are having a hard time keeping up with him!  He is crawling everywhere now and pulling himself up to everything...all with a huge smile on his face!  Jack and Katy love playing with him...almost a little too much.  Sometimes I think they see him more as a rag-doll than their baby brother.  Drew puts up with a lot from both of them.  Hopefully some day he will be able to hold his own...but for now, he just gets tossed around!  Other than crawling everywhere and getting into everything, his latest trick is doing "so big."  It is so much fun watching him learn new things!  He is still eating and sleeping great.  He is also still holding steady with just 4 teeth, but I am guessing more will be coming soon...which might change the eating and sleeping thing a little!

Celebrating Christmas 2013

The Johnson family had a blast celebrating Christmas this year as a family of five!  We were lucky enough to celebrate six different Christmas' this year with our families.  The kids had so much fun spending time with their grandparents and cousins, and of course they also enjoyed the new presents.  By the time we celebrated our last family Christmas, Mom and Dad were exhausted...but I think the kids were still ready for more!
