Tulip Time!

It was a beautiful and perfect day for our visit to Pella for Tulip Time this year.  We could not have asked for better weather!  My three little ones had fun dressing up in their dutch costumes with Grandma and Grandpa.  Jack and Katy were in the parade this year, along with Grandma and Grandpa, and cousins, Kaiya and Saige.  They all rode in Barb's 1973 Ford Mustang as she was recognized as a recipient of the Pella Chamber of Commerce Excellence Award for 2014.  After the parade, we all enjoyed a few plates of poffertjes and some pictures by the tulips, followed by a little play time at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  

Jack's Lego Party

Jack celebrated his birthday today with a special Lego birthday party with all his friends.  For two hours, our house was taken over by 6 energetic little boys!  They all had so much fun playing with Legos, bouncing in the bounce house, and running around outside.  Surprisingly, we made it through the evening without any blood or tears and everyone had a great time!
