7 months old!

Our littlest man is 7 months old already!  That is so hard to believe!  He is still a great baby and always happy and content.  He is trying to hard to be more mobile these days...which I am trying even harder to deter.  I am just not ready for that!  Drew still loves watching Jack and Katy play, and they are both very good with him...most of the time!  His newest trick is clapping his hands.  He is pretty proud of himself while doing this!  He is still eating and sleeping great.  He has 4 teeth now and it will only be a matter of time before he is eating table food.  I wish I could keep my little baby from growing up so fast!!

Fall Program at Preschool

Jack had his fall program at preschool today.  All the kids had fun dressing up as pumpkins while singing their songs. Jack did a great job and we are so proud of him!

Happy Halloween!

We had a great time celebrating Halloween this year with our three little monsters!  The kids had a blast dressing up in their costumes and they loved trick-or-treating.  It was fun seeing them so excited!

This is what Drew thinks of peas :)

As I mentioned earlier, Drew is not a fan of peas and these pictures prove it!  The funny thing is, he still managed to eat quite a bit of peas from the bowl despite his distaste.  He would open his mouth and as soon as I put a bite of peas in his mouth, he would start bawling.  He would eventually stop crying, swallow and then open his mouth again only to repeat the process!

6 months old!

Drew is 6 months old!  Our little guy is doing great and continues to be a very laid back and happy baby.  He is always content regardless of what he is doing or who is holding him.  He loves watching Jack and Katy play and I know he will love the day that he can run around and play with them.  For now, he is happy watching them from the exersaucer!  We have been experimenting with baby food this month and so far, he loves it!  He sits in the high chair with his mouth wide open just waiting for more.  He is not a big fan of peas (can't say I blame him!), but he loves everything else we have tried thus far.  He is at such a fun age right now and I am doing my best to enjoy each new milestone, although I still wish I could keep him from growing so fast!  At his 6 month check-up, he weighed 17 pounds, 10 ounces (50th percentile) and was 28.5 inches long (99th percentile).  He is a long little guy!!
